production:
These items used to be made in
Aydın, a providence ın Turkiye, and around the providence in the past.
Roughly the production date is between 1950 and 1980. The production
purpose of the items: the young girls at the marriage age had to prepare
these items as trousseau. They are hand-made with silky strings on 'Aydın
Silk' which is a peculiar cloth to Aydın district. It is made by a style
which we call 'embriodery frame'. The embriodery frame style is a
handiwork style in which cloth is stretched with a wooden frame and
embroidered with needle.Today, people don't do this type of hand works any
more. The items which I put up for sale are unused. They are offered for
sale in their original style. Some of them have some small coffer stains
because of the fact that they have been kept in coffers for long years.Even,
the stitchings of most of them have not been opened yet. |
